Don’t tell the husband ....

Yesterday I hosted a makeover workshop for Derbyshire Unison at the Casa Hotel in Chesterfield which was a thoroughly enjoyable event, lots of interaction & participation ..... one of the questions I was asked though was how long it took for me to apply my makeup in a morning on a typical ‘work’ day .... and I didn’t actually know! So this morning I timed myself!

In my defence this doesn’t include any time for hair preparation, I simply combed it through and put it up in a clip and no time for getting dressed was taken into account .... this was a basic makeover with makeup applied after my moisturiser .... this consisted of my usual foundation, some concealer, setting powder, bronzer on cheeks, touch of highlighting powder, brows, mascara and a touch of lipgloss .... no eyeshadows or liners were used .... I quite surprised myself!!!! I am renowned for taking a substantial amount of time to get myself ready .... often distracted by many things (usually my phone!) and my husband is always frustrated by how much time elapses before we can leave the house!!!! In future I must try to stop getting so distracted! X (ps don’t tell him!!!) lol
